A Message from NetDocuments CEO
As we near the end of 2007, all of us at NetDocuments want to thank you for your continued business, and, we also want
to wish you and your family and business a safe and healthful Holiday Season and a great 2008.
We are, together, participating in the world's most innovative technology revolution since the introduction of browsers and the web. The Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, to which you have subscribed for your document management, has taken the industry by storm. Your decision to embrace SaaS-based document management was a bold but very savvy call. We, and you, are years ahead of on-premise, old fashioned legacy packaged software. Among the benefits that we have been able to deploy as a service for your organization, we commit to you our effortless commitment to bring forward features that further enhance your experience. And, in 2008 you will see, among others, the following enhancements: > New and powerful search engine > Left panel navigation pane > Simplified NetBinders > Integrations with Multifunction Printers (MFP) > Zoho editor integration > Document Review pane > Subfolders creation in Mobile (ND2) interface In addition to the smooth operations of a SaaS model, we have also been providing your organization with built-in disaster recovery for all your documents in redundant world-class data centers. We do not take your business for granted. Every day we are innovating and supporting your employees, clients and customers with their document work. The industry refers to this aspect of the SaaS model as "Constant Customer Accountability". We are now managing, in a SaaS model, more than 30 million documents for our valued customers. We know of no DMS system in the world that has reached such scale. Our growth will continue, as the SaaS market is projected to grow at a much faster pace than on-premise software. In fact, all major software companies are now working to deliver their software applications in a SaaS model. The traditional software industry growth is declining; gross margins are down for these companies; and traditional software license revenue is declining. In contrast, TripleTree, a boutique SaaS-oriented investment bank and research organization, stated that 2006/2007 was the "turning point" for SaaS. SaaS companies are small (over 90% have less than $15 million in revenue) but we are growing 4 times as fast as traditional software companies and we are leading the Software-as-a-Service revolution. ![]() With warm regards,

NetDocuments Step-by-Step Guide ReleasedNetDocuments has updated its online registration process so that it will soon automate the creation of the repository, offer a pre-populated folder list for some industries, and generate a "Getting Started Section" on the Home Page. If you create a section on your Home Page titled Getting Started the header color will be orange. You can then send users links to training guides, etc. and web links like the Guide above. |
