Release v1-2008 - January 17th Highlighted Features
Searching enhancements. In preparation for our 2008 release of our major search engine upgrade,
many enhancements were added for our current customers to beta test, including 'lemmatization'
or 'stemming', snippets, search spelling correction and other refinements. Look forward to our
announcements regarding this incredible search engine that will truly lead the DMS market in searching
functionality.Create Folders in ND2 Using ND2, our mobile interface for accessing your NetDocuments account on any Internet-connected device such as iPhones, BlackBerry and non-IE browsers such as Firefox, Mac environments, etc., users can now create folders instead of simply browsing folders. Document/Image Reviews Have you tried the Document Review option yet, which can be found in a folder view under Marked Items? We have further enhanced this feature allowing users to view a set of documents/images, tag with keywords, rename, file in folders and link comments to the documents. Drag n Drop documents into NetBinders The ND team is continually enhancing the service to take advantage of drag and drop, right-clicking and other rich user interface features in the browser page. Here is another simple, yet very productive feature to drag n drop documents located in a folder to a NetBinder. Email Attachments displayed with icon A highly requested feature by our users. We listened. When Microsoft Outlook emails are filed and the email has attachments, you will see a paperclip icon on all list views to locate the attachments you are looking for. Copy Workspace Templates If you are using Workspaces, did you know you can create multiple folder templates triggered by a custom attribute such as area of law, project type, etc. Real estate law will have different folders than litigation. Now you can copy an existing template as a starting point when needing another template. Remove from Document Import List With our new feature allowing users to select a batch of documents at the same time when importing from the PC, you can now remove any document that you selected before you proceed with the import process. There are many more enhancements included in this release. |
